Hello, I’m Jordan, a father of three from the North East of England. I currently reside in a pit village in County Durham, so you’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve misread the next part—I am a Conservative, albeit a One Nation Conservative. My political interests were first sparked during David Cameron’s premiership, as I strongly resonated with his vision of Compassionate Conservatism.

When I’m not with my family, working, or writing, I can often be found on the golf course, making the most of the many fantastic courses across the North East. That said, I make no claims of being a skilled golfer—you’ll likely find me searching for my ball in the rough or lamenting yet another shot into a water hazard.

Here on Medium, you’ll find a range of topics that reflect my interests, from my experience in e-commerce and retail to the more widely engaging discussions on politics and social issues. I’ve long had what some might call an unhealthy fascination with politics, and in an effort to spare my partner, Nicky, from my incessant political musings, I’ve chosen to share them here instead—something she no doubt appreciates.
